A short and sweet post today, sharing with you all the Mothers Day gift I made for my mother-in-law.

I grabbed this box from one of my many Thrift Shop trips. It was decoupaged with tissue paper and very rough. I only lightly sanded so my paint job looks ‘textured’.

Her favourite colours are pink and purple so I raided my stash, painted and embellished as I did with this other tissue box. A little brown ink smudged around the edge for an ‘antique-y’ look and voila!
